Lidocaine Hydrochloride Gel

How to make a self-made frame Friends! Venice carnival 2009

This is a real 'Art Attack!' , you'll need glue, paint, cardboard and so on!
It's not hard to do but it takes a bit of time... it doesn't matter because the result is perfect!
I put my Friends frame on attic door, where I made my little "video&friends corner" ♥

FRIENDS FRAME

You will need:

° Cardboards
° Scissors
° Kitchen roll
° PVA glue
° Water

To complete:
° "gypsum, plaster of Paris, chalk, plaster"... I don't know the english term! It's gypsum powder, usually you mix it with water and put it in some molds, then it becomes strong and takes that form.
° Water
° Yellow, red and blue paint or yellow and beige paint
° Brush

Let's start!

° Draw the model on a paper or on cardboard.
You could draw your model of Firends frame, or you could use mine (click on thumbnail).
Before to print it adjust the model size thinking about how big you want the frame.

Afterwars, the "making-off" pictures will show a different frame I recently made for Carnival , but the process it's the same, and the model above it's for Friends frame of course! ;)

° Trace the model on cardboard, and cut away the surplus (areas with grey line in my model).

° If you have a cardboard thin as mine, it's better to strengthen it, so glow another cardboard on it and press well.

° Mix well 1.5 tablespoon of PVA glue and more or less 125 ml of water.
Cut Kitchen roll papers in stripes.
If stripes are bigger, decorations will come more evident so I advise to make them bigger than mine. ;)

° Soak one or more paper stripes in glue-water mix, squeeze them a bit and roll them.

° Glue the stripes follow the model line on the cardboard.

° If you want you could put another bit of glue on decorations.

° Let dry.

° When decorations are dry, to smooth the look of the frame you could paint it with some gypsum powder.
(Another way is to glue plain perpendicular paper stripes on decorations.)

° To do this mix 1-2 tablespoons of gypsum powder with some glue-water mix (plus about 0.5 tablespoon of glue). You should get a smooth batter, a bit dense. You should be able to use brush to put it on frame!

° Paint with gypsum the frame and let dry.
Repeat another time (photos are about the first paint).

° When it's dry, you have almost finish!
It's paint time! Mix with wet brush yellow + a bit of + a little red, little bit of blue to get this "yellow-beige" and paint the frame, let dry and do it again if Necessary. Friends

frame it's done!

OUTCOME:

THE FRAME OF FRIENDS In Italian.
This is a real 'Art Attack!' serve as glue, paint, cardboard, etc!
It is not difficult, but it takes a little 'time, however it's worth it because it is perfect!
I have attached the frame to the door of the attic I used to "tv-out with friends" ♥

Materials:

of cartons
°
· Paper cutter or scissors kitchen
· Glue PVA (ihihih)
° Water For

finish: quick-setting plaster
° ° Water

· painting yellow, red and blue or yellow and beige
° Brush

started!

· Draw the pattern on a sheet or directly on the carton.
You can draw your model or use the frame of my Friends (click on thumbnail). Before you print
arranged the measures according to the size of the frame you want to achieve.

From then on, the photos of the procedure will show a different frame I did for Carnival, but the procedure is the same and the pattern that I put on is undoubtedly the frame of Friends!

· Copy or trace the pattern onto the cardboard and cut the excess (in my scheme are those with gray lines).

° If your board is up like mine, it is better to reinforce pasted on another board and pressing down to make them adhere.

° Mix well 1.5 tablespoons of white glue and about 125 ml of water.
Tear the paper towels into strips. More
strips are wide, the decorations will be more obvious, so my advice is to make them bigger than mine. ;)

· Immerse one or more strips of paper into the mix of glue and water, squeeze a little 'and roll.

° Position the strip following the design on the card.

° If you want you can go with the brush a little more 'of glue on the strips.

· Allow to dry.

° When the decorations are dry, to make the decorations more consistent with the frame, you can use the quick-setting plaster.
(Another way you may glue on the decorations of the strips at right angles and twisted individual.)

° To do this, mix 1-2 tablespoons of plaster with a little 'mix of glue + water (adding about half a tablespoon glue).
You should get a smooth and a little 'usable with dense brush.

° Spread the plaster on the frame and let dry.
Repeat the operation once again (the photos are of the first pass).

° When it is dry, you're almost done!
It 'time to paint! Mix well with a brush wet with a little yellow 'red and very few (Issime) or blue for a "yellow-beige", let it dry and if necessary passed on to another painting.

The frame is finished!
